Program notes: What on earth is The Mind’s Voyage?? I’m no fan of floofy concert titles for no reason, so wanted to make this meaningful. Using David Maslanka’s The Seeker as a jumping-off point, we look to take our journey not through the music alone, but asking how other disciplines look at art and culture. Maslanka’s score mentions inspiration from Buddhism — but what is at the core of Buddhism, and how does the music itself relate? With help from some special guest speakers, we look to explore interdisciplinary connections between music and sciences, humanities, and more. Enjoy the journey!!

An afternoon of hors d'oeuvres, gorgeous views and incredible chamber music at Connessa Collective's Fall Fundraiser Concert at The Thursday Club. Along with the dynamic musicians of Windscape, a dynamic mixed chamber ensemble, Connessa Collective performs woodwind and reed quintet works by Kevin Day, Nina Shekhar, Valerie Coleman, and more. Get swept away by this breathtaking performance while helping us bring the World Music Fest 2026 to life. Every ticket and donation supports local world-class artists and helps us bring global sounds right here to our community.  

A benefit gala concert to support Expressive Arts Therapy at the Elim Counseling Center. Toni will flute quartet works with Connessa.  

Connessa returns to the Weds@Noon Concert Series with the program "Ancient Songs of Love and War," featuring music from Japan, Peru, and ancient life on the Mediterranean island of Sardinia.
